1. Get in touch
Please telephone or email our team to discuss the details of your case. Our team are happy to discuss what services may be the most appropriate and offer advice on our requirements and timescales.
2. audio transfer
Send the recordings via our online sharing platform or by courier service. We require the most original versions of the recordings available to ensure we are working with the best available evidence.
3. Screening
We will screen the recordings for suitability within 1-2 weeks of receipt. We will provide a screening statement outlining how suitable the work is for analysis, and any limitations that may affect the final conclusions. Please read our requirements for an accurate screening.
4. AUTHORISATION
We will also provide a financial estimate at the same time as a screening statement. We require written authorisation of the financial estimate from either the officer-in-charge, the forensic submissions department or an official legal representative.
5. analysis
We will complete the analysis within the agreed timeframe. Typically, this timeframe is in the region of 6-8 weeks* depending on the size of the case. You will receive a formal written report explaining our methodology, conclusions, checking procedure and limitations.
6. expert testimony
All of our forensic specialists are specially trained to provide oral testimony as expert witnesses. They present evidence for both the prosecution and the defence, in national and international jurisdictions, and in many types of court.
*Our turnaround times will vary depending the size and requirements of your case. Please get in touch with one of our team to discuss this.
