All three Forensic Voice Centre experts attended the 31st annual conference of the International Association for Forensic Phonetics and Acoustics conference hosted by the University of Zürich and the State Forensic Institute at Zürich.

Director and Forensic Specialist, Dr Rhodes, presented on the important issues of cognitive bias and information management.

FVC also had input in a PhD presentation from Lauren Harrington on expert transcription methods.

We saw a range of interesting talks and attended casework special sessions, plenaries and workshops on topics as diverse as voice spoofing, audio analysis, automated speaker diarisation, effects of face-masks, and more.
